Detergent Mixes To make a bleach (sodium hypochlorite) solution, mix:

4 Ounces (1/2 cup) bleach per gallon of water

Ensure solution has at least 70% alcohol.

Surface Dwell Time Recommendations

Per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommendations, bleach solutions should remain on surfaces between 5-10 minutes for maximum efficiency. NOTE: Clorox recommends 5 minute dwell time.

Heat Recommendations

Heat at 132° F (56°C) kills the SARS coronavirus at around 10000 units per 15 min (quick reduction). Setting cleaning unit temperatures between 140°-150° is recommended.
